NO FEAR NO RELENT

Do you remember the historic football match between Nigeria and Brazil in Atlanta during Olympics Games in 1996? General Sani Abacha was the president of Nigeria, while Jo Bonfrere was the Chief Coach of the Dream Team, Nwankwo Kanu fully on ground as the Captain of the team.

Brazil was the king of global football and they knew it. So, Nigeria losing to Brazil that night would not be a big deal.

Gosh! Brazil dealt with us that night. Till around 77th minute (about 12 minutes to the end of the game) Brazil was obviously dominating the game. The score line was Brazil 3, Nigeria 1.

Despite the Brazil squad including star names such as Carlos, Rivaldo, Bebeto and Ronaldo, Nigerians watching the game still think Nigeria did not deserve such humiliation by Brazil boys, we had been beaten mercilessly. Nigerians became angry towards the end of the match; many had turned off their Television sets, some were shedding tears, while few hoped and prayed that we would not be further disgraced with yet another goal, but the unimaginable happened in the game.

At about 78th minute Victor Ikpeba stroked from 20 meters to score the second goal, everything changed beyond the 3:2 score line. Pressure came upon Brazil and hope for the Nigeria players, they became more motivated and began to fire shots from every angle.

Then another miracle, at the 90th minute, just before the final whistle, Kanu Nwankwo turned and flipped the ball over Dida and it was another goal, the equalizer.y

What a wonderful match?...

There was a rule then, “the Golden Goal Rule", the first team to score in the extra time wins the game.

Then came the decisive goal from Papilo in just 3 minutes into the extra time… And that was how the messy game became a message.

A lot can still be done this year to make it a glorious year, the remaining part of the year is sufficient to define the whole year.

Don't lose hope now. It is too early to give up on your beautiful expectations for 2021.

It is not over until it is over, wipe off the tears and buckle your shoes.

In the remaining days and weeks of this year, try to;

🔹Review

🔹Re- strategize

🔹 Relaunch.

🔹 keep faith alive

🔹fire shots from all angles

Surely, you will win...

🔹Resist the pull of fatigue regardless of the past disappointments and delay.

*He is a God of Miracles*

He will make things happen for you. *You will smile at last*🍾🥂🍷🌹🌺🌹

Reshaping To Better Life

What do you think about this question..?
Do we find ourself or does our self get demolished?
Do We make a living by what we get, or we make a life by what we get..

Let's read this article...
It is easier to be wise for others than for ourselves..
While it is true,, most people never see or understand the difference they make, or sometimes only imagine their actions by having a tiny effect, every single action a person takes has far-reaching consequences.
When someone loves you, the way they talk about you is different. You feel safe and comfortable..
Look at me. You may think you see who I really am, but you'll never know me.

Look at this..
There is a time to speak up, and a time to be silent. A time to read and a time to write. A time to learn and a time to teach. A time to listen and time to be heard. A time to lose and a time to gain. And for all of these things the time in now..

Lemme tell you this...The world is a busy place filled with many busy businesses, both the Godly and the ungodly. It means before you go on to accept any activity or event that comes into the world, you must weigh its Values, examine the Virtues, listen to Views and then you give your Verdict. Satan is not wise; he is just crafty!

Don't complain about your life when you are the one who is handling it.Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting... It doesn't matter how many times you fall, what counts is how many times you stand up again.. .If there are no ups and down in your life It means you are dead.

Life is a matter of change is not a matter of choice...The worst part of life is that, you do not know what is coming up next..
Every new day is another chance to change your life... Decision defines destiny..
Its the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.

Enjoy Every Moment You Have..
Because In Life, There Are No Rewinds...Every story has an end, but in life every ending is just a new beginning.

Thanks for reading..

UNDERSTANDING CONTENTMENT IN MARRIAGE

#THIS IS FOR EVERYONE.. :

Marriage is very enjoyable. But just as many factors are responsible for making it work, so also are many factors responsible for making it fail. One key that makes marriage work is called: CONTENTMENT.

What is contentment?

Simply put, an attitude of happiness and satisfaction. So a contented person is someone who is happy and satisfied (no matter the situation they find themselves in).

In the context of marriage, contentment means being happy and satisfied with your spouse for who they are,  and what they have.

Contentment is an attitude, and as we all know, our mindset to things must be a positive one. In a marriage, the two spouses are to be contented with themselves. Lack of contentment is the bane of many marriages today around the world.

Now let's see the areas contentment should displayed in marriage:

1. Religious beliefs
2. Ethnicity
3. Country of origin
4. Educational qualifications
5. Social and financial status
6. Physical outlook
7. Accommodation
8. Profession
9. Sexuality

Contentment starts from the level of relationship. If satisfied with what one knows or sees about the other partner, then the relationship should graduate to marriage.

Sadly many people care less about the salient issues during courtship. Little or no attention is given to the things that matter so much to them. To most people, courtship is to be having fun and merriment alone.

When we were still dating and courting those days, my woman and I discussed real issues a lot. I am an Igbo man while she is a Yoruba lady. I asked how a few things about her tribe and culture. She did same with me. We were both satisfied with our answers. We talked about my accommodation. Those days I was living in a room and parlour apartment (popularly known as "face me and I will slap you"). She visited me there a few times and she was satisfied with it. Next we looked at my income then, she was also satisfied with it. Next was my profession, and she also expressed satisfaction about it. We got married a few years later I was still in those conditions, and her satisfaction didn't stop or wane. Two years into our marriage the condition changed a bit. I got another job with a little pay rise and we moved into a self-contained apartment. She was still satisfied with me.

Now hear this: contentment doesn't mean that you don't want more out of life. It simply means that you are happy and satisfied with what you have per time. As a newly wedded couple then, we lacked many things. We ate poorly made food (food not sumptuously garnished). We dressed poorly (we could not buy the trendy wears. In fact we didn't buy new clothes in years). The house we lived in was not in good shape. We only had one kitchen, one toilet and one bathroom for eight families to use). Sometimes to bath we queued, waiting for our turn. In that compound we had a bunch of irresponsible and troublesome fellows who were not cooperating on most issues, so every now and then there were heated arguments and sometimes fights in the compound.

Now here's why I am telling you all that: my wife is graduate and comes from a modest family. She lived in her parents' duplex. Yet she agreed to marry me under such very difficult conditions. She has been contented from day one in our marriage till now. May God bless her for her understanding of life and marriage.

Sometimes I wonder why some spouses decide to be a pain to the other partner in their marriage. Why would someone see and know what they are getting into and will get into it and start troubling the other person. That's is really unfair. Please stop it.

As a man, you like women with "big behind", busty, fair-complexioned. Why did you go for a "flat-behind", "tiny-breasted" and dark-complexioned woman as wife? Now you are not satisfied with her and keep hurting her in that marriage. Please stop torturing her, because it's all your fault. Yes, you heard me right!

Madam, you married a low income earner as a husband. Why do you insult and ridicule him every now and then because he doesn't have as much as other men you know have? Why the torture? Why didn't you marry those "big guys"?

My wife and I are very ambitious people. We like class and have taste for luxury. But since we didn't have what it takes to have the classy and luxury things of life, we exercised contentment. Never in our marriage has my wife has given me attitude because I didn't have. Never in our marriage has my wife denied me or deprived me of sex on account of her unmet needs or expectations. Never in our marriage did my wife ridicule in the presence of her family members because I couldn't give anything to her parents then. Rather, she was very contented, we were very contented. Today, we are still a very contented couple.

Dear friends, life is in phases and men are in sizes, hence the need for patience and contentment. Misery in marriage is not a product of lack of many things, but the lack of contentment. Please let's all develop contentment today, and see how happy and satisfied we will be in our respective marriages whether in plenty or in penury. Your best days are still ahead.

Many thanks for the reading, commenting, liking and sharing.

!!! BIG SECRETS IN MARRIAGE !!!

Let's read attentively

                    *secret 1*

Everyone you marry has a weakness. Only God does not have a weakness. So if you focus on your spouse's weakness you can't get the best out of his/her strength.

            *Secret 2*

Everyone has a dark history. No one is an angel. When you get married or you want to get married, stop digging into someone's past. What matters most is the present life of your partner. Old things have passed away. Forgive and forget. Focus on the present and the future.

            *Secret 3*

Every marriage has its own challenges. Marriage is not a bed of roses. Every good marriage has gone through its own test of blazing fire. True love proves in times of challenges.  Fight for your marriage. Make up your mind to stay with your spouse in times of need. Remember the vow: For better for worse. In sickness and in health be there.

              *Secret 4*

Every marriage has different levels of success. Don't compare your marriage with that of any one else. We can never be equal. Some will be far, some behind. To avoid marriage stresses, be patient, work hard and with time your marriage dreams shall come true.

             *Secret 5*

To get married is declaring war. When you get married you must declare war against enemies of marriage. Some enemies of marriage are:
Ignorance
Prayerlessness
Unforgiveness
Third party influence
Stinginess
Stubbornness
Lack of love
Rudeness
Laziness
Disrespect
Cheating etc.
Be ready to fight to maintain your marriage zone.

             *Secret 6*

There is no perfect marriage. There is no ready - made marriage. Marriage is hard work. Volunteer yourself to work daily on it. Marriage is like a car that needs proper maintenance and proper service. If this is not done it will break down somewhere exposing the owner to danger, or some unhealthy circumstances. Let us not be careless about our marriages.

              *Secret 7*

God cannot give you a complete person you desire. He gives you the person in the form of raw materials in order for you to mould the person into what you desire. This can only be achieved through prayer, love and Patience

             *Secret 8*

Getting married is taking a huge risk. You can not predict what will happen in the future.  Situations may change so leave room for adjustments. Husband can lose his good job or you may fail to have babies. All these require you to be prayerful otherwise you might divorce.

            *Secret 9*

Marriage is not a contract. It is  permanent. It needs total commitment. Love is the glue that sticks the couple together. Divorce starts in the mind and the devil feeds the mind. Never ever entertain thoughts of getting a divorce. Never threaten your spouse with divorce. Choose to remain married. God hates divorce.

            *Secret 10*

Every marriage has a price to pay. Marriage is like a bank account. It is the money that you deposit that you withdraw. If you don't deposit love, peace and care into your marriage, you are not a candidate for a blissful home.

So today let us pray for our marriages. Pls Send this link your frienfs and family and to those you care about because  you never know who you may be helping. May God bless you all. Amen.

ÀPÀ (SCAR)

Àpá means Scar*

*My name is Oladimeji and I am 32 years old. This is the story of my Àpá. Àpá means scar*

*I finished my NYSC in 2016 and immediately, I got a job with one of the banks in Nigeria and my branch is in Ogba, Lagos State.*

*I was barely 9 months to the banking job and one day, a fair lady passed a cheque leave to me, she has come to withdraw money from her account and a simple complement from my end "you are looking beautiful" created a spark that would later turn me into a mad and paralyzed guy for 2 years and that has been my Àpá.*

*I appreciated her beauty and sincerely speaking, her complexion and beauty will make a guy to look at her more often as long as she is around - and that was what happened! I couldn't concentrate.*

*Though, I didn't make mistake while handling her transaction but the mistake I made cost me more. I lust after her beauty.*

*When I gave her the cheque leave to write her name, address and sign at the back, she returned it with her complimentary card and I promised to call her after working hours.*

*I couldn't wait till the close of the day, I was looking at the time every five minutes. It was as if I was in eternity - the time was just too slow.*

*My colleagues noticed my uneasy acts and they were just wondering - what's happening to Ola? Someone who won a lottery would not be happy more than me that day. I never knew I was entering into a journey that will take only the mercy and deliverance from God to save me. Still, the Àpá is with me.*

*After working hours, I put a call through to her and we fixed an appointment to meet that weekend.*

*Devil so planned it that it's just #100 from my place to where she was staying at Ogba and by weekend, I was at her place.*

*I can never forget that Saturday evening. She welcomed me with open arms and asked what I would like to take of which I responded "anything". Well, she didn't offered me anything but she did offer me something. She offered me what she called 'Nneka Treat' and that was the beginning of the Àpá.*

*For 30 minutes, I didn't know where I was again. It was after regaining my consciousness that I realized that the BJ in her complementary card meant BlowJob.*

*Her complementary card reads - BJ Services ...for all your pleasures, and her name Nneka, as the Managing Partner. So, what she had just offered me was a BJ and that was the first time I will experience such. That was the birth of my Àpá.*

*Well, I was a Christian but not a serious one then so I will categorise myself as just a church goer because I lost all my church sense that day.*

*After the BJ experience, we ate and later had sex and the Àpà was stamped. I couldn't even go back to my place until the following day and I am sure if I wasn't going to resume work on Monday, I would still stay another day in her place.*

*When I got home the following day which was Sunday, I started calling her everyday for the next 4 days. The purpose of my calls was just to greet her and to ask for what she wanted and it was the same sentence anytime I call. "Hello Nneka, how are you today? I just want to ask you, what do you want?"*

*On Monday, which was the first working day after the incident, I called her in the morning in a place called "kitchen" at my place of work and I asked what she wanted for the day, she said, "I want you to transfer all the money in your account to me", and my response was just " yes ma". You would have thought I was transferring my 'close to a year' savings from the bank job to save a life at the hospital, that was the speed I used in transferring #256,000 that I have in my account to her. I had to even beg her after doing the transfer that I still have #1,032 left in my account but I couldn't transfer it and she said no problem.*

*The following day, Tuesday, she asked me what other investments do I have, I told her "I have a land bought from cooperative and another land that my late dad gave me." She asked me to sell it that day and transfer the money to her that same day and I had to sell both lands for #65,000 so that I can meet the deadline she gave to me.*

*By Wednesday, I had to sell all the electronics in my apartment and the furniture for #20,000 at Sabo. A guy living in my neighbour organised everything after I left for work, he just gave me the #20,000 as the amount of the goods sold.*

*By Thursday, I didn't have anything to meet up her demand and her response "then that's the end of you" was what I heard last...*

*Until after two years...*

*I heard that I ran mad at the "kitchen" after making a phone call.* *The kitchen is a private area in my place of work where we freshen up before attending to customers and to cool off the stress of the day. I had been calling Nneka from there since Monday after my encounter with her, and I think since I didn't have anything to offer again after my call with her on Thursday, that was why I ran mad and later became paralyzed.*

*I was told that it was the staff who knew the Church that I was attending that took me there and they put a call through to my mother to come down and attend to me. I had filled her name in my file as the next of kin.*

*I was told that it was the stress of my state of madness that cut short the life of my mother because I was not just a mad man, I was a paralyzed mad man.*

*I was told it was my mum that will carry me to the bathroom, to the toilet and she was there to take care of me. The church could only do little.*

*I was told that after one year in that state, my mum died and I was transfered to a prayer mountain with the help of Bimpe.*

*It was on the prayer mountain in Ogun State that I heard people shouting Hallelujah. For a very long time, I didn't know what was happening. All I saw first was that there were mad men chained under tress around and after a while, I saw Bimpe.*

*I could recognize Bimpe after two days of gaining my sanity fully and being able to talk.*
*Bimpe was one of the marketing staff in the bank where I was before the whole saga and she was my friend there.*

*She told me she had to resign from the job after 1 year the incident happened to me because she heard from God that I am her husband and she said the confirmation was strong. Though, she said it wasn't easy for her but she knows the voice of her Father. Her family too supported her and she was with me after the death of my mum. Together with the support of her family, they were the ones who carried me to the prayer mountain in Ogun State and she had been there with me for a whole year till I receive my miracle.*

*It was a BlowJob of few minutes and one time sex with Nneka that put my life and Bimpe who is now my wife on hold for 2 years.*

*I was called a mad man for 2 years and though I'm healed but the Àpá is still there because now I use crutches.*

*Not many will receive mercy as I had received it from God.*

*Bimpe discussed with me some of my manifestations during the deliverance sessions and she said it was just God's mercy that restored me.*

*Truly, I am a living testimony of what is called Sexually Transmitted Demons as Bimpe said I manifested a whole lot of them before being delivered.*

*Now, I'm still using crutches and I can't go back to the place of work again. I will have to start arranging myself to find a new job but it will take some time.*

*However, I give thanks to God for delivering me from the shackles of Nneka.*

*The question I ask everyday is - How many people who have been trapped by Nneka have such testimony as mine?*

*If only the youths of this generation will learn from my experience and know that the best thing to do is to flee from all appearances of evil, sincerely it will save them from a lot of Àpá.*

*This is the story of my Àpá.*

*Àpà means scar and even though I have been delivered, the Àpá is still there.*

*Nothing has stolen more dreams, dashed more hopes, broken up more families, and messed up more people psychologically than our propensity to disregard God's commands regarding sexual purity.*

*Sexual immorality is a commandment from God.*

*Flee!!!*

*Me: pls read the above and let every youth under you read it too.*

ELEVATE 2021;LET'S GET MOVING

You’re feeling stuck. Last year was a tough year for many.

You know you need to do something. You’re just not sure what to do.

You’d like to make sure next year is not a repeat of this year.

Sound familiar?

I can’t think of a single person who wants this year to be a repeat of last. However, only a handful of people that I know are taking steps to ensure this year is different for them than 2020.

I recently conducted a brief survey here on LinkedIn and asked the following question:

What's your number one wish this year in terms of your career?

Here’s how people responded.

A promotion 27%

A raise         23%

New boss     4%

New job in a different company 45%

I have to admit, I didn’t quite see this coming. I was surprised by the number of people who choose a new job in a different company.

That got me thinking.

Many of you are looking to try something new this year. Maybe you have a clear sense of what this is or you’re still trying to figure it out.

Perhaps you’re not feeling challenged in your current role and there is nowhere to go in your company.

Or maybe you don’t foresee a promotion or pay raise becoming a reality anytime soon. This could be because you don’t know how to ask for a promotion or raise and actually get one.

You may be struggling with how to build relationships up, down, and across the organization when everyone is working remotely.

That’s when it hit me. There are a lot of people seeking to elevate their careers this year. Yet, they may not know where to start. Most could benefit from being surrounded by a group of like-minded people who are 100% committed to obtaining their goals this year. So, here’s what I’m going to do.

I’m going to be putting together a group coaching program for people who are 100% committed to achieving tangible results and elevating their career. This program is NOT for everyone, which is why we need to have a conversation, prior to you joining. You also have to be willing to make an investment, as it’s not free. There are plenty of free resources on my website if that’s all you can afford. I'll be offering early-bird pricing, so don't delay.

Results you can expect:

·     You’ll be prepared for your next promotion

·     You’ll be able to dramatically accelerate your job search

·     To enhance your ability to inspire, influence and motivate those around you

·     Greater Executive Presence

·     Vibrant, productive, strong relationships both up and down the organization

·

Talk soon!

MOVING YOUR CAREER FORWARD IN A WORLD. WHERE EVERYTHING FEELS STALLED..

Yesterday, I received an email from a coaching client telling me that she received three job offers last week. She was elated!

Another client reached out to me to tell me she landed an awesome job, with a significant bump in pay and a great job title.

You may be thinking, “What do they have that I don’t have?”

Here’s the thing. Neither of these people saw this coming when they started their search in late 2020. Yet, they kept the faith.

Things looked very bleak back in December. Companies were still shedding employees, and it looked like we’d be seeing more of the same come 2021.

Both people were working on the plans we created and feeling like they weren’t making much progress.

We had a lot of tough love sort of conversations. Yet, they persevered.

Here’s where their story may differ from yours.

Both clients continued to move their search forward in spite of feeling like they were merely treading water.

And then it happened.

In January, the floodgates opened. People in their network were calling them back. Those resumes they thought they were dumping into the abyss (also known as the applicant tracking system) seemed to have somehow surfaced. They were scoring interviews left and right.

An outsider would see this as luck, but I know better. We’ve had countless conversations around how to move forward when it feels like the rest of the world is on pause and the importance of being consistent, especially when you feel like you want to throw in the towel.

Here’s some advice for those of you who may be feeling stuck.

Keep your foot on the accelerator. Go after what you want, and don’t stop until you get it.

Identify the top 20 companies you’d like to work for and network your way in. Check their websites weekly to see if an opportunity comes up that’s right for you.

Surround yourself with positive people. Years ago, when I was laid off in one of our country’s worst recessions, I found myself wallowing in self-pity. I had no problems staying in this place because the people I surrounded myself with told me that I deserved to be disappointed and angry. I soon realized that their advice was doing more harm than good.

I left these people behind and started my own job search group. I handpicked the people that I wanted around me. We met weekly and shared job leads. We also shared words of encouragement that kept us afloat during some very dark times. We were fortunate to have someone in our group who was a black belt in the art of job search. Eventually, our group disbanded, as one by one, we secured employment. However, our friendship is still intact.

Get rid of the naysayers in your life and find a group (or start your own) of people who are on the positive road to a new beginning.

Get some professional advice. If you’ve been doing the same thing over and over, and it’s not working, then consider the possibility that you need a new plan.

If money is in short supply, consider reaching out to your college alumni association to see what resources are available for alum. If you’d prefer a more customized approach, ask people in your network, who they might recommend, to assist you in your endeavor to find a job search coach.

As the vaccine continues to roll out across the country, I predict we’ll see a surge in the number of open positions. The time to ready yourself for this next wave is NOW.

I'm excited about the future. How about you?
